In difficult humid conditions Cody's powerful serves were finding the right spots. Well done to both players and congratulations to Cody.

A big congratulations to all of our winners! Thank you to everyone that participated and competed so well.

Unfortunately due to a positive covid diagnosis the Mixed, Ladies Doubles and Ladies Singles finals couldn't go ahead. As you can see this is a very unique situation! These matches are now taking place after Sunday social tennis from 12.15pm as follows:

Mixed Doubles - Sunday 24th September
Ladies Doubles - Sunday 1st October
Ladies Singles - Sunday 15th October

Watch this space as we hope to plan some special exhibition matches alongside them! Further information to follow.

An awards presentation will be going ahead at the AGM on Friday 13th October 7pm

Big thanks to the volunteers and spectators who helped us run the finals weekend. Very much appreciated.

Special Recognition Champion

Victoria Olley

Vicky has recently donated one of her kidneys to her brother. The most selfless and kindest things to do. We hope you are recovering well and we look forward to you being back on the court very soon.

Vicky is our Fixtures Secretary and she received an Essex Tennis Tennis nomination for recognition during 'National Volunteers' week. Vicky and Panna also got the chance to play at Wimbledon this year for 'Road to Wimbledon' tournament!

Great work Champ! Now get back on the court!

Thanks very much
